Professional Security Officer (PSO)
Security Alliance provides trained, licensed, unarmed and uniformed Professional Security Officers fully equipped to perform the requirements identified in the scope of services and the Post Orders (which will be developed). These Officers will: Be fully screened to include previous employment, criminal records check, credit history, references, and driving record verification. Verifications cover, at a minimum, the last ten (10) years.
• Be literate in the English language and bilingual when possible
• Be able to meet and deal with the general public
• Be able to understand and apply various rules, regulations, and orders
• Be able to maintain poise and self-control under duress
• Possess current State-required licenses
• Successfully undergo site-specific Post Orders training
Professional Security Officers are equipped with two-way communication devices. During the evening and midnight shifts, Supervisors conduct safety checks at random intervals to ensure operational continuity and safety. If contact is not made, a supervisor will respond to the location. Emergency and routine communications are routed through the company’s central dispatch.
